The Voyage of Discovery Begins!

This is the day that the final search for Gasparilla's Treasure begins! The website opens and the fun begins. This purple squirrelly Captain of the USS Gasparilla's Treasure is ready to enlist his crew and sail off on a wonderful voyage of discovery. I will tell the tale of how a now-extinct society of gentlemen scientists first discovered the treasure. I will tell the tale of a young missionary who befriended one of the remaining society members. and how that missionary was given a map and told of how they found Gasparilla's Treasure. I will tell the tale of wars that separated these gentlemen from each other's society; sometimes forever. Then the tale becomes more complicated as the missionary later becomes a scientist. As he learns of the periodic geomorphology of sedimentary barrier islands he recalls the tale he learned so long ago. Excitement builds in him as he realizes that its right there! All the clues slam together in his mind and he knows how to recover it.

He just needs a ship and crew. And so the adventure begins!
